Safety Information
Fireworks and similar devices are basically explosives and must be treated with out most care. DO NOT EXPERIMENT WITH THEM. The necessary precautions must, therefore be adopted at all stages,of manufacture,transport,storage or use. In India, manufacture of all types of explosives, fireworks or similar devices are illegal, unless conducted in a duly licensed factory .

How to Play Fireworks Safely :
  • Buy only the highest quality fireworks manufactured and sold by reliable concern.
  • Observe cautions printed on Fireworks items, USE COMMON SENSE. Fireworks should be used only with extreme caution. Used carelessly they can cause painful and possibly severe injuries. Before using fireworks, be sure they are permitted in your city or local area. Many cities and local governments prohibit or limit the use of fireworks.
  • Never store fireworks near a flame or a source of heat.
  • Do not use any Fireworks near schools, churches, temples, hospitals hall, games, or other public gatherings.
  • Never light flying fireworks from balconies or near buildings. Use terraces or open grounds.
  • Keep all fireworks away from infants and small children and irresponsible people.
  • Never give fireworks to small children. They are too young to understand the danger involved.
  • Have an adult present. Proper supervision can prevent dangerous mishandling.
  • Don’t let children handle ‘Pharaoh’s Serpents’ or chat patinas (Fireworks that flit about). They are poisonous also.
  • Never allow children to play with fireworks unsupervised. Children should be supervised when using fireworks.
  • Do not allow younger children to play with fireworks under any circumstances. Fireworks are not toys for children.
  • Ignite out doors. Light fireworks outdoors only in a clear area away from houses and inflammable material (dry bush, Gasoline cans, huts, haystack etc.)
  • Keep a safe distance. Be sure other are out of range before lighting fireworks.
  • Always read directions. The most common cause of injury is misuse mainly by children under 14. If you don’t understand the instructions, consult your dealer.
  • Legal fireworks are manufactured for safety, but “bootlegged” fireworks ARE NOT. Make sure there is a manufacturer’s label on all your fireworks and also clear instructions for use. Illegally manufactured fireworks rarely have either.
  • Never experiment. Don’t take fireworks apart or mix anything with contents. And NEVER make fireworks at home.
  • Fireworks that don’t go off as expected may act unpredictably. Don’t try to re-light duds. Soak them with water and throw away.
  • Mishandling causes most accidents. Fireworks should NEVER be taken apart or experimented with. Use them only as they are intended to be used.
  • Discharge one piece at a time. Keep all other Fireworks at a safe distance from where they are being discharged. Don’t carry any Fireworks in pockets.
  • If grown-ups is permitted to use fireworks, make certain that they use them only under close adult supervision. Do not allow any running or horseplay while fireworks are being used.
